Maitri Shah is an MS MIS student at Texas A&M University, Mays Business School actively seeking internship opportunities starting summer 2023. With over two years of industry experience as a Software Engineer, Maitri has gained diverse knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies, including React JS, Spring Boot, Google Analytics, and Tableau. She has worked on developing and maintaining new functionalities, gaining experience not only in core development but also in understanding the project roadmap. Maitri is passionate about a socio-technical approach to utilizing technology, infused with the processes and people involved. She believes that impactful communication and effective team collaboration define her top strengths and strives to achieve perfection, focusing on the details, with the belief that smaller tasks when done diligently, gradually, and ultimately lead to bigger achievements. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University - Mays Business School, Maitri is currently teaching Business Information Systems Concepts. She is also a patent owner and has previously worked as a Software Engineer I at John Deere and Junior Software Engineer at Vasundhara Carriers Private Limited. Maitri holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Management Information Systems, which is expected to complete in December 2024. She has also completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, Pune, and The Bishop's School, Pune. Maitri's tech stack includes Software Engineer, ReactJS, Spring Boot, Spring, Frontend, and Backend. With 1.43 years of relevant experience, Maitri is eager to contribute to the technological world with even more enthusiasm, leveraging her previous professional experience and the knowledge she will acquire on completion of her MS in MIS.
