Maitri Tewari is a Senior Software Engineer at CGI with over 5 years of experience in the field. She is a Full-stack developer with extensive knowledge and experience utilizing tools in N-tier and Microservices architecture applications using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JSON, ReactJS, NodeJS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud config, Netflix OSS components(Eureka, Zuul). Her core language skills are C, C++, Java, and Matlab, and other proficiencies include Operating Systems, Data Structures, and DBMS. In addition to her software engineering expertise, Maitri is also an Image Processing specialist with 2+ years of experience in the domain as a Programmer, Researcher, and Guest Lecturer. She has expertise in Image Stitching, 2D reconstruction, Image classification, segmentation, feature extraction. Maitri is also the first author of a paper named "An Automated System for Image Reconstruction from Distorted Image Fragments" that was accepted at the International Conference on Computer, Electrical and Communication Engineering (ICCECE), 2017 and under publishing by the IEEE. Maitri has previously worked as an Associate System Engineer at IBM, where she was a member of a team that constructed both the customer-facing and the administrative sites for a leading Life Insurance giant. She has coordinated with software engineering teams for the development of technical documentation and implemented procedures for the creation of wireframes and prototypes for new user interfaces. She has also worked on POCs and cutting-edge features before they are integrated into the product, and has made recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Maitri has also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management, where she taught subjects such as Computer Architecture and RDBMS. She also served as a Guide to 3 final year students for their Final year project on ‘Image processing. After her 6 months stint at the college, she also received an offer to join the IT dept. as an Assistant Professor. Maitri holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Information Technology from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from W.B.U.T. She also holds an HS degree in Science from Rabindranath Tagore Girls’ High School (H.S.).
