Makarand Bauskar is a highly skilled Technical Lead with expertise in software development and engineering. He is currently working at CrelioHealth as a Senior Software Developer & Tech Lead, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining a cloud-based PACS system that syncs and uploads medical/DICOM images from different modalities to CrelioHealth PACS. Makarand has extensive experience in developing interfacing applications using the Electron framework and React JS, which helps interface various pathology devices using ASTM/HL7 protocols and sync the sample results back to CrelioHealth reports. He has added several interfacing modes such as Serial, TCP IP, and File-based, and enabled auto-updates for the interfacing apps. In addition, he has developed an application in .NET & Python to print the barcode label using raw EPL, ZPL, EZPL, TSP & ESCP, which has improved the scanning of barcodes in pathology devices by 97%-98% over PDF barcode prints. Makarand has previously worked at Sky High Arts Pvt Ltd as a Software Developer. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from KCE College of Engineering & Information Technology and a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Information Technology from Amrutvahini College of Engineering.
