Manas Das is a highly skilled and experienced I&C Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the Engineering and commissioning of Instrumentation & Control System of Petrochemical and Refinery. He is currently employed at ExxonMobil as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer. Manas is an expert in Reliability improvement, Asset management, and Digital Transformation. He has a proven track record in managing maintenance of Sulphur Recovery Unit with expertise in Turnaround, Shutdown, and Debottlenecking. He has also been involved in IIOT implementation and OT cybersecurity as per IEC-62443. Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Manas worked as an Assistant Manager-Instrumentation Maintenance at HPCL, where he was responsible for managing the maintenance of the Sulphur Recovery Unit. Before HPCL, he worked as a Deputy Manager at Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, where he was responsible for Project Management, Design, and Commissioning. Manas holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Instrumentation from Jadavpur University, which he completed in 2009. He also completed his Higher Secondary education in Science from Basirhat High School in 1996. Overall, Manas has 13.36 years of relevant experience in the field of Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and a Functional Safety Engineer (TUV SUD).
