Manav Singhal is a highly skilled software engineer with over 7 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently, he is employed as a Software Engineer at Facebook, where he works on mobile/Android development for Portal, using Java and Kotlin. In addition, he also works on Infra, Product, and Social aspects of the company. Prior to his work at Facebook, Manav worked as a Software Developer, Mobile at Atlassian. During his tenure there, he was responsible for creating and delivering content creation and collaboration experiences on Android using Kotlin, RxJava, and GraphQL APIs. He also developed Confluence native mobile applications that interacted with REST & GraphQL APIs and local data to provide a fast and efficient interface. Manav continuously designed, developed, and released apps to the Google Play Store with great unit and functional test coverage. Manav's previous experience also includes working as a Senior Software Engineer - Android at The Climate Corporation. During his time there, he collaborated with product and design teams to conceptualize great phone and tablet experiences for the agriculture industry. He developed responsive mobile applications to present agronomic, geospatial, and planting information on maps, reports, and feeds. Furthermore, he contributed to a common shared library shared across multiple native applications and learned new technologies and frameworks to solve some great challenges in the agriculture industry (i.e., limited access to reliable data connection). Manav holds a Masters of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he completed his degree in 2015. He also holds an Integrated Post Graduation (B.Tech and M.Tech) in Information Technology from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), where he completed his degree in 2013. Additionally, he completed his Senior Secondary education from Kalka Public School, New Delhi, in 2008.
