Mandar Apte is the Founder of Mudrakshar, a company that offers educational apps for iOS and Mac devices to help individuals learn the Devanagari Script and languages like Marathi, Hindi, and Sanskrit. With over 17 years of experience in graphic, web, and animation film design, as well as user experience and interface design, Mandar has designed and developed three apps - Mudrakshar, Swarakshar, and Chitrakshar - to help users learn the Devanagari script using modern technology. Mudrakshar App offers video animated assistive writing to help users learn how to identify, write/trace, and pronounce Devanagari Letters. Swarakshar App has over 422 Devanagari alphabets with voice-overs, while Chitrakshar uses visuals such as animals, fruits, and vegetables to teach children how to identify and pronounce alphabets using background sounds. These apps are suitable for anyone from the age of 5 and above, regardless of their location. Before founding Mudrakshar, Mandar worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at Accion Labs, where he designed wireframes and interfaces for various projects using tools like Sketch App and Balsamiq Mockups. He also worked as a User Interface Designer at GEP Worldwide, where he focused on designing UI and UX interaction designs for their SMART by GEP platform, an automated procurement app designed to eliminate paperwork and give users business analytics on their mobile app and web portal. Mandar holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Sir J J Institute of Applied Art in Illustrations, Paintings, Advertising, and Photography. He also has a Diploma in Advanced Computing Arts from C-DAC and a One Year Diploma in Complete Animation Film Making with Digital Software from Shardashram Vidyamandir's School of Animation. Additionally, he holds a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) certification from Human Factors International and a 3D Modelling certification from Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC). Mandar's tech stack includes skills in designing for web and mobile, Swift programming language, and UI design. With almost two decades of relevant experience, Mandar has a passion for using modern technology to help individuals learn ancient scripts and languages.
