Mandar Kamalaskar is an enthusiastic image processing and machine learning professional with a passion for new technologies and aeroplanes. Currently working as an R&D Specialist Engineer at Hewlett Packard, Mandar has gained 4.52 years of relevant experience in the field. In his previous role as a System Engineer at Spectral Insights, he developed image processing algorithms for image quality enhancement, system optimization, and robustness of digital pathology systems for whole slide imaging. Mandar's experience also includes a summer internship at the University of Calgary, where he achieved a transition time of 3 seconds through MATLAB simulations of a tilt-rotor transitional aircraft by adding a wind-canard configuration. This resulted in an increase in the aircraft's payload, endurance, and range. Mandar holds a dual degree in Master and Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from IIT, with a focus on image processing and machine learning.
