Mandar Mukadam is a highly experienced Head of UX at CIPIO with over 19 years of experience in the field of user experience design. He is passionate about creating intuitive designs that provide a seamless experience across multiple platforms. Mandar believes that digital experiences should be fluid and flexible and his focus is on creating empathy with end-users to create a motivating environment that can attract and retain the biggest talent within a team. Mandar's process begins with identifying problem statements from stakeholders and conducting research on real users to create user profiles and personas. He also conducts competitor analysis and creates user stories, user journeys, and sitemaps. As a common bridge between UX design, business development, product, stakeholders, and engineering teams, Mandar sketches ideas on paper and creates wireframes and interaction prototypes. Once the scope is frozen, he moves on to the design phase. Mandar's expertise lies in user-centric design methodologies, including conducting workshops, stakeholder interviews, user research, and goal analysis. He collaborates with cross-functional teams in research and strategy discussions, matches the mental model with a conceptual model, identifies the user group, and creates user personas. He also develops interactive prototypes to demonstrate page flows and responsive design solutions. Mandar is proficient in heuristic evaluation, usability testing, web and mobile interface designing, and participates in team building activities and training. Prior to his current position at CIPIO, Mandar was the Lead Usability Researcher & Product Experience Designer at DXFactor and CoE - Experience Design at Credencys Solutions. He holds a PGD in Advertising & Marketing from the Maharaja Sayajirao University and a B.Com in Accounts from the same university. Mandar's tech stack includes AI, research scientist, designer, test, mobile, and web.
