Mandeep Gandhi is a highly skilled Senior Computer Scientist with over 6.95 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Adobe in the same capacity, where he has been instrumental in designing, implementing and operationalizing the next generation Real-Time Machine Learning framework for the Adobe Experience Platform. He has also co-designed, implemented, and productionized a streaming ingress/egress framework for Adobe Experience platform using Apache Kafka Connectors. Mandeep has demonstrated his expertise in designing system architecture and co-implementing a Deep Learning-based document conversion service for delivering 99.9% SLA. He has worked on various aspects of productionization of the service such as making technology/platform choices, scaling, storage, resilience, security, load/stress testing, etc. Additionally, he has co-implemented an actor system-based service to orchestrate business workflow. He has also co-developed a self-service compute layer over Apache Mesos for the Platform initiative at Adobe for resource allocation to data science jobs and micro-services handling the challenges of multi-tenancy. He owned scaling and security aspects of this layer. Prior to his current role, Mandeep worked at Adobe as a Computer Scientist, where he worked on AEM Forms - Next generation of data capture. He worked as a full-stack engineer from the inception of the product, developed features like fragments and lazy loading, created CI/CD pipeline, worked on performance enhancements, capacity planning, etc. Mandeep holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Illinois, which he completed in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from MNNIT, which he completed in 2012. He possesses a diverse tech stack that includes research scientist, testing, Kubernetes, ML, data scientist, Kafka, microservices, CI/CD, among others. Mandeep is a proactive and results-driven professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
