Manish Adkar is a highly motivated and adaptable Software Engineer with 3.5 years of experience in building software. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Stony Brook University and actively seeking full-time job opportunities starting from June 2022. Manish has a keen interest in systems, software, and system design. He possesses a diverse skill set that includes C, C++, Java, React, SQL, and Bash. Manish currently works as a Software Engineer I at Avaya, where he has been instrumental in the development of Device Enrollment Services. He has devised and owned the functionality-based separation strategy of the application into 5 microservices and architected and implemented the layer-7 load balancing using NGINX for high availability configuration. Manish has also developed a POC mobile application with barcode scan functionality in Flutter, designed and developed a collector service that automated the collection of device details in the Avaya manufacturing plants, and implemented a user impersonation feature with the help of sessionStorage and localStorage. In his previous roles at Avaya, Manish worked as a Senior Technical Associate and Technical Associate. In these roles, he led the design and development of various UI components using React, Redux, and Webpack, optimized the load time of web pages, and mentored new hires in the team. He also designed and developed various RESTful APIs and a React front-end for the Zero Touch Provisioning server for Avaya Devices deployed in a Docker container on AWS. Manish holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology and is expected to complete his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University in December 2022. He has experience working with a diverse tech stack that includes AWS, SQL, Backend, Integration, Frontend, Java, Microservices, Mobile, Flutter, Javascript, Redux, UI, Web, Docker, Jenkins, and Android.
