Manish Chowdhury is an experienced Data Science Researcher with a PhD in Image and Statistical Learning from ISI Kolkata and University of Calcutta. With strong mathematical foundations in Statistics and programming skills in Python and Matlab, he has a demonstrated track record in Corporate Research in Machine/Deep Learning, Explainable AI & computer vision for novel real-world applications like Cyber Physical System, Digital twin, and specially healthcare applications. Currently working as a Research Scientist at Siemens Healthineers, Manish is exploring the field of Quantum Computing. He has worked with Siemens in the past as a Lead Researcher and as a Siemens Intrapreneurship with Next47 Accelerator Program, which is designed to develop new ideas for Siemens teams to generate business for Siemens in the long term. Manish's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Machine learning and Computer Vision from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and the University of Calcutta. He also holds a B.E(Etrx) in Electronics from the University of Pune. With 15.63 years of relevant experience, Manish's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Computer Vision, AI, Deep Learning, Python, and Data Scientist. He is a skilled researcher with a passion for exploring new technologies and their applications in healthcare.
