Manish Dass is a highly experienced Principal Engineering Manager with over 18 years of experience in software engineering and technical management. He is currently working at Samsung as an Associate Architect, leading the team responsible for VoLTE and RCS features on Android devices for the Reliance JIO operator. Prior to this, Manish worked at Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineering Manager, where he led the Bing Travel Segment data onboarding at scale and experience, Knowledge Graph, Semi-Structured Data, and Entity experience projects. Manish is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, where he received his B.Tech. degree in 2004. He has extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions, delivering delightful and finely-crafted user experiences. He has also worked on distributed systems, microservices, and machine learning. In addition to his technical expertise, Manish has over 7 years of technical management experience, leading teams of software engineers to improve developer velocity and scalability. He has also worked on signaling protocols such as SIP, SDP, and media protocols such as RTP, RTCP, and AVPF, as well as integrating OEM's audio engine - AMR-WB codec and video engine H.264.
