Project Title: Real-time Electro-Thermo-Mechanical Performance of Laser Welded Joints in Li-ion Cells
•Selected 1 mm thick Aluminum 1050 plate, shaped specimens using a waterjet cutting machine, and deburred edges with precision.
•Designed and fabricated fixtures to securely hold specimens during laser welding, optimizing alignment and minimizing deformation.
•Programmed and successfully conducted laser welding on Linear, Circular, and Rectangular patterns.
•Implemented three variations of power settings to achieve consistent industrial-grade weld depths.
•Performed tensile testing, measured voltage under constant 200A current, and monitored thermal profiles using a thermal camera.
•Achieved peak load for Circular and Rectangular welds (~1400N), double the load capacity of Linear welds (~600N).
•Maintained consistent resistance and temperature across all weld types; breaking load followed the same trend, at ~140N and ~60N respectively.
•Collected and preprocessed approximately 30k data points from real-time experiments on Linear, Circular, and Rectangular welds.
•Applied Polynomial Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, XGBoost, and LSTM models with hyperparameter tuning for optimization.
•Achieved an R² score of 0.98 using Random Forest and R² scores of 0.85 (temperature) and 0.74 (load) with LSTM.

 •Developed a personalized news recommendation system suggesting relevant articles based on users' Twitter activity and reading history
 •Applied collaborative filtering to analyze Twitter users' reading history and content-based filtering to match article content with user tweet
 •Performed data collection and analysis, including sentiment analysis, topic modeling, user clustering to improve recommendation accuracy

•Developed a Deep learning model for heart sound classification, by integrating 832 audio files from the iPhone app and digital stethoscope

 •Engineered Bidirectional LSTM model, optimized layers, and hyperparameters for sequential audio analysis with 199,700+ parameters

On Sept. 15, 1956, the Parliament of India passed an act known as the Indian Institute of Technology(Kharagpur) Act declaring this Institute as an Institute of national importance. Project title: Advanced Transfer Learning Techniques for High-Accuracy Plant Disease Detection and Classification
• Effectively resized and converted 5,000+ plant images (128x128 pixels) across 10 species, ensuring ~200 images per disease category
• Successfully implemented ResNet, VGG16, VGG19, Inception, and ImageNet models, achieving up to 95% accuracy in disease classification
• Significantly fine-tuned models with a 0.001 learning rate, 50% dropout, and strategic data augmentation, effectively reducing overfitting
• Achieved remarkable accuracy of 90-95% with 2-hour model training time per model, significantly enhancing disease detection capabilities

• Completed a simulation focused on advising a hypothetical social media client as a Data Analyst at Accenture
• Cleaned, modelled, and analyzed 7 datasets to uncover insights into the content trends to inform strategic decisions
• Prepared a PowerPoint deck and video presentation to communicate key insights for the client and internal stakeholders
