Manish M is an upcoming graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, pursuing a Masters in Information Security. He is a final year undergraduate student in Computer Science and Engineering and has a passion for gaining new technical skills. Manish is a cybersecurity enthusiast and a passionate android app developer. He believes that networking with like-minded individuals can increase productivity and has a portfolio website where he shares all his updates. Manish is currently working as a Digital Trust intern at KPMG, where he is involved in risk consulting. He has performed SOC attestation for one of the biggest BPO's and evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of business processes and information technology general controls. He is also working on a funded research project with Cybersecurity Karnataka and the Indian Institute of Science to develop a secure lightweight distributed framework for auditing shared data of smart applications using Fully Homomorphic Encryption in cloud storage. Manish has previously worked as a VAPT intern at NCIIPC, where he led a team of 10 members for the task of identifying vulnerabilities in the Critical Information Infrastructure of the country. He has also worked as a research intern at Samsung R&D Institute, where he improvised Bixby by developing a unique recommender system that provides personalized recommendations of utterances based on the user's demography, interests, and context using implicit feedback. Manish has also worked as an android app developer intern and a web developer intern at PupilMesh Pvt Ltd, which is a start-up company incubated at IIM Bangalore. During the internship, he learned about the various things that go into building a successful startup. He has also worked as an android app developer intern at ISKCON Bangalore, where he got a chance to work and interact with professionals. Manish is actively involved in the development and maintenance of MSRIT Connect, an android application for the students of his college. As a Core Member of the Developer Student Clubs by Google and an Execom member of IEEE in his college, Manish has gained a plethora of skills required for organizing an event, giving back to the community by imparting knowledge, and most importantly, accountability. He has also tried his hand at networking through his journey as a campus ambassador for StartEarly, an edu-tech startup company.
