Manish Misra is a seasoned C-Suite executive and currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic. In his current role, he is responsible for the strategic development of innovation and technology, while leading the company's Innovation hub. Panasonic's Innovation hub is focused on creating an ecosystem for the company to shape future product strategy and enable digital transformation. The hub aims to develop transformative solutions in five key domains - Connected Home/Community, Mobility, Energy, Industrial, and Finance Solutions, which will result in state-of-the-art products. With over 26 years of relevant experience, Manish has held leadership positions in various companies. Before joining Panasonic, he was the Vice President at HID Global, where he headed Engineering, R&D, and Innovation around HID Global's product portfolio and enabled the adoption of new technologies such as Cloud, Mobile, and IoT in their solutions. He also served as the India Center Head & Sr. Director Engineering & Innovation at HID Global, where he was responsible for setting up HID Global India development, engineering, and innovation center of excellence. This center provided key software, firmware, embedded hardware, and applications development for HID's portfolio of solutions in the secure identity business. Manish completed his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CSE) from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, in 1996. He has a strong tech stack in Mobile and has been actively involved in developing innovative solutions leveraging emerging trends to bring in technological advancements that will enable Panasonic to stay ahead in the industry.
