Manish Rajani is a 4th-year Computer Science student at Ashoka University with a passion for problem-solving and creative thinking. He has gained experience in various domains, including government IT policy, social media, and healthcare, through his internships. Manish enjoys taking on challenging work that pushes him to develop his skills and intuition. He has also demonstrated leadership abilities by leading societies in his college. In addition to his interest in Computer Science, Manish is also a talented musician who can sing, play three instruments, and write songs. He believes that his musical abilities have helped him develop a unique perspective and approach to problem-solving. Currently, Manish is working as a Research Intern at World Food Atlas, an early-stage global nutrition project led by Dr. Ramesh Jain. In this role, he is designing surveys for the collection of data from the Indian rural population and preparing plans for the establishment of scalable data-collection processes. He is also serving as a project management consultant for the nation-wide scaling of the project. Manish has previously worked as a Creative Growth & Data Analysis Intern at Hallparty, a college-exclusive social media app with over 4000 users. He analyzed user behavior data using Python to predict user actions and generated personalized notifications for app users. He also identified college friend groups by analyzing multiple in-app follower graphs, leading to personalized friend recommendations. Manish has also worked as a Research Intern at the Data Security Council of India, where he was involved with CIPHER, a research lab funded by WhatsApp (Meta). He conducted policy research to help solve the WhatsApp traceability problem and designed the user interface for implementing Dr. Kamakoti’s traceability proposal. He also served as a user experience consultant for the project. Manish has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ashoka University and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field. He completed his Senior High School from City Montessori School and his Junior High School from Spring Dale College, Lucknow. Manish's tech stack includes his experience as a Research Scientist.
