Manivannan Perialwar, also known as Mani, is an accomplished data engineering and analytics leader with over 23 years of IT experience, including 17+ years in core competency. He is skilled in setting up and leading high-performing engineering teams and architecting and building data platforms/solutions (Data As A Service) in domains of Big Data Analytics, Data warehouse, ETL/Data Integration, BI, and other related areas. Mani has experience in setting up and operating entrepreneurial ventures and providing customized solutions in the domain of Big Data analytics, DW, ETL/Data Integration. He has analytical, problem-solving, and leadership qualities inherited by delivering solutions in conjunction with business requirements. Currently, Mani is working as an Engineering Leader - Data at Altimetrik. He is responsible for the delivery of all Data programs for one of the strategic accounts, Novartis, including hiring and building the team. Mani also builds account-specific Data COE, delivery governance, and best practices. He contributes to Altimetrik Data Architecture practice. In the past, Mani has worked as a Deputy General Manager - PM (Data) at Samsung. He was hired to lead the Global Data Team for the eCommerce platform. The entire team work moved to HQ as part of reorg/restructuring. He has also worked as a CEO/DW Architect at Synerva Inc. Mani's first stint as an Entrepreneur while providing Data Solutions consulting services to clients. He has grown this company to a size of 10 people before the recession hit the industry. He provided consulting services to fortune 500 clients. Customers included Expedia corp, Pervasive software, and Jigsaw.com. He built data solutions practice including Senior consultants. Implemented end-to-end Data warehouse/Data Integration/BI solutions to fortune 500 customers, Architectured scalable data solutions, and managed operational excellence activities for the customers like Paypal, PG&E, Pervasive Software. Mani has a Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University. His tech stack includes Big Data, ETL, Integration, Mobile, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, and product management. With over 25 years of relevant experience, Mani is a valuable asset to any organization looking to leverage data for business growth.
