His project involved image preprocessing, feature engineering, building a random forest classifier, separating clustered bacilli, and calculating the count of single bacilli. The bacilli count estimated by the system is close to the actual values for most images, with a maximum of 20% error. Manivas is now a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, where he continues to utilize his expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and image processing to develop innovative camera systems. He is also open to new opportunities in these areas and is eager to take on new challenges. In addition to his technical skills, Manivas is an excellent communicator and collaborator.
