Manoj Prabhakaran is a skilled software engineer with over 10 years of experience in L2L3 Protocol Feature, Performance & System Manual Test and Automation on Highly Scalable Datacenter Switching & Smart Edge Routing platforms. He is currently working on Data Center Switching Solution Test for Cisco Nexus235679K Product Family, building NXOS platform L2L3 Solution Test Setup reviewing various customer. Manoj is responsible for supporting customer NXOS upgrades, analyzing the risks involved before the upgrades based on the config and design review. He has expertise in understanding the feature function specification documents and high-level documents, as well as the system architectures. Manoj coordinates with the development team to find RCA of the defect and fix verification, has good experience in automation of test scripts with PERL, TCL, basic Python, and has developed a few generic APIs and infra tools to reduce manual test effort. He has hands-on experience on traffic generator API development and worked for sanity test of various features and new feature integration in Sanity test script (Ericsson). Manoj's current position is as a Software Engineer at Cisco, where he is responsible for DataCenter Solution Test for Cisco Nexus235679K Product Family. He is building customer-based topology to scale and integrate system-level features, working on releases and finding quality bugs and automating it, supporting customer upgrades for Datacenter products, testing various system-level features based on customer use case scenarios, developing optimized tools for system-level debug analyzer which can report automatically to the bug database based on the issues found, and automated scripts to generate system and scale configs. He has extensively worked on Ixia (IxNetwork) and Spirent (STC) tools and exploring new API’s for effective and optimized automation. Manoj has previously worked as a Lead Engineer at Terralogic, where he led a 10+ member team by resolving day to day automation/manual infrastructure issues/process, testing various SDN features that were developed for customer requirement with Smart Services Router Ericsson Flow Switch, performing functional testing and coordinating with developer, regression teams, and platform/forwarding performance test for various SDN features. He has also worked as a Trainee Lecturer at Sona College of Technology, where he lectured Fundamental of Computing for First Year Engg (Theory and Lab) and lectured OOPS for Second Year Engg (Theory and Lab).
