Manoj Rewatkar is a seasoned Lead Platform Engineer with over eight years of experience in the online travel and fintech industries. He has a strong background in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers. He possesses in-depth knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for software development life cycles, and has the ability to take a project from scoping through to the actual launch of the project. Manoj has extensive experience communicating with the business team and other technical teams to collect requirements and describe software product features with technical designs. He has experience building Rest services using Java & Spring boot, RDBMS as a data store, Kafka for asynchronous communication, Caching with Redis, and Quick search engine with Elastic Search. He has also worked with AWS & Spark jobs for processing historical transaction data. Currently, Manoj is working as a Lead Platform Engineer at Paysafe, where he is responsible for Merchant Credit Risk Monitoring (MCRM). He has designed and developed Spark jobs to process merchants' historical transactions data, added services to create cases, and handled the complete lifecycle for merchant cases. He has also reduced AWS S3 cost storage by adding spark jobs to merge small parquet files based on partition configuration, which improved Athena query execution time. Manoj has designed and developed the Elastic search data migration flow from On Prem Elastic cluster to Cloud elastic cluster and has developed the spark job to calculate merchant risk score, which focuses on screening risky merchants based on risk categorization. In his previous role at Paysafe, Manoj worked as a Senior Platform Engineer, where he was responsible for Risk & Compliance Service. He designed and developed the KYC verification workflow and minimized AWS S3 storage cost by ~ $120/Month by adding data partitioning and bulk push to S3. Prior to Paysafe, Manoj worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Yatra, where he developed the Marketplace Activities application for creating activities for partners and implemented activities approval workflow functionality for the Admin group to approve or reject an activity. He also developed APIs to populate activities on the Yatra web portal as well as mobile apps and developed activities booking APIs to book an activity on Yatra web portal as well as on mobile apps. He also worked on Yatra Monuments, where he designed and developed the Yatra Monuments booking flow using Java & Spring boot.
