Manoranjan Otta is an energetic and self-motivated software engineer with a passion for exploring and building the next generation of technology. With over 3 years of relevant experience, he has expertise in backend development, web development, serverless framework, and payment gateway integration. He has hands-on experience in Restful API development and loves competitive coding. Manoranjan is currently working as a Software Engineer at Slice and has previously worked as a Software Development Engineer 1 at Viacom18. At Viacom18, he was responsible for backend development using NodeJS and AWS, worked on subscription modules for both Voot and Vootkids, and created a CRM dashboard that integrates Auth, Subscription, and Payment actions to troubleshoot and resolve all types of user requests. He was also involved in technical discussions, code reviews, deployment on production, system design, payment gateway integrations, production bug fixing, and reconciliation. He integrated Grafana to visualize and continuously monitor APIs, instances, and databases, and integrated RazorPay and AmazonPay Payment Gateway to enable both recurring and non-recurring payments. He created a cron service for RazorPay and AmazonPay to handle both renewal and expiry events, continuously monitored services and optimized them. He worked with the JioPay integration team to enable Voot subscription for JIOSTB partner and wrote test cases for RazorPay and AmazonPay payment modules that were executed by Jest. He has hands-on experience in AWS services, mostly on EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Apigateway, Cognito, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, Cloudwatch, VPC, Subnet, Elastic IP, Cloudformation, SSM, RDS, DocumentDB, Elastic Search, SES, and Cloudwatch Agent. He also worked on Mixpanel tool. Manoranjan holds a Master of Technology degree in Power Electronics & Drives from NIT Rourkela and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from Silicon Institute of Technology (SIT), Sambalpur. He is an expert in JavaScript, AWS, Backend, SQL, Web, C, Integration, NoSQL, NodeJS, Elastic Search, test, Search, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, and ReactJS.
