Manpreet Singh is an Associate Research Manager at Kantar, a leading global research and consulting firm. He is currently pursuing an MBA with dual specialization in Marketing and IT at Delhi School of Management, DTU. With a relevant experience of 2.78 years, Manpreet has worked as a Business, Marketing and Operations Intern at Bright Network, where he conducted competitive analysis on 5 UK cities influenced by Retail Marketing, and Supply chain Management. He also created a marketing proposal and allocated marketing budget for a new Enterprise Rent-A-Car location. Manpreet has previously worked as a Market Research Intern at NSG Dreamfutures and Consultants Private Limited and as a Software Engineer Intern at Netforchoice Solutions. At Netforchoice Solutions, he worked on a project that involved Sentiment Analysis of Reddit headlines, where he collected 1000 news headlines from social media site Reddit using PRAW and used Python’s NLTK package to label the dataset. He also plotted graphs according to the positive and negative word frequency distribution used in the headlines and further expanded the project to collect the comments from each headline and performed the same analysis. Manpreet has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from DIT University and completed his High School in Non-Medical Sciences from Sumermal Jain Public School. He is skilled in Research Scientist, Sentiment Analysis, Software Engineer, and Python.
