Mansi Sinha is a final year undergraduate student of Mathematics and Computing at IIT Kharagpur with a keen interest in software development and natural language processing. She has recently completed a software development internship at Citrix, Bangalore, where she developed a full-stack project that extracts data from Jira and Bitbucket based on user queries in Javascript Frontend. The tool serves as an integration of Jira and Bitbucket, and the API calls are made in the backend using Flask framework, which returns data analysis results to the frontend. Mansi has also worked on two research internships involving natural language processing. At the National Research University - Higher School of Economics, she worked on a project based on numerical reasoning to perform mathematical operations on word problem datasets using various natural language processing tools. She created a model that identified the numerical data from the text statement as well as the operation to be performed based on the context of the text. At the e-Health Research Center (EHRC), she worked on speech translation on medical transcriptions. Her task was to improve the accuracy of the already available speech recognition API, especially for medical transcripts since the vocabulary for training these APIs lack medical terms. She used deep learning models to correct the wrongly predicted words and improve the accuracy of medical translations. Mansi is a sport programmer and spends her time solving problems on Codeforces. She loves connecting with people to learn from them and increase her horizon of knowledge. She is eager to start her career with software engineering roles and has a relevant experience of 1.95 years. Her tech stack includes software engineering, NLP, frontend, research scientist, Javascript, Flask, integration, backend, and deep learning. Mansi is a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. She is a team player and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. With her diverse experience in software development and natural language processing, she is well-equipped to take on challenging roles in the industry.
