Mansoor Alicherry is a technology leader with a passion for solving complex technical problems. He has extensive experience in building innovative solutions and leading teams in software development, architecture, and project management. With expertise in online systems, scalability, big data, networking, security, systems, algorithms, and data sciences, Mansoor is known for his ability to turn research ideas into viable commercial products. Mansoor has published 30 papers in international conferences and journals and filed 29 patents, 23 of which have been granted and six are pending. He is a staff software engineer at Google, where he creates a culture of innovation for engineers to learn, grow, and take up challenges. Prior to joining Google, Mansoor was the VP of Engineering at Vizury, where he was involved in all aspects of technology development, including architecting and designing key components, creating engineering/product roadmaps, growing the engineering team, and creating a culture of innovation. His focus areas were scale, performance, cost, optimization, security, and data science. Mansoor led various teams, including real-time bidding, analytics, ad serving, systems, infrastructure, and data sciences. He re-architected infrastructure and components to handle security and set up a patent program, filing the first two patents. Mansoor holds a PhD in Computer Science (Network Security) from Columbia University, an MPhil in Computer Science from Columbia University, an ME in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISC), and a BTech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. He also completed his high school education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
