Mantej Gill is a seasoned software developer with over 5 years of experience in Python, Data Science, Android Application Development, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Internet of Things. He is currently working as a Senior R&D Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise where he is part of the Infosight's Analytics team, responsible for creating models for various server-related use cases such as prediction of failures of various server components, optimization of various server parameters for better resource utilization, and recommendation systems for better workload performance. He also creates secure pipelines to collect data from servers residing in customer data centers and maintains systems to efficiently store and process big data. Mantej is passionate about his work and is always eager to connect with like-minded people. He has experience in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Automation Development, and Firmware Development. He has developed an end-to-end POC project to gather, parse and predict various failures of server components based on HPE server logs and implemented multiple machine learning algorithms to predict the failure of storage and performance components. He has also designed and developed tools that automate HPE Smart Components building and release, perform functional testing of HPE storage devices, and customize various flavors of Red Hat Enterprise, SUSE Linux Enterprise server, and Windows ISO for auto-deployment on HPE Bare Metal servers. Mantej has previously worked as a Project Intern at Hewlett Packard and as a Technical Group Lead at Apple Developers Group (ADG-VIT). At ADG-VIT, he utilized Unity3D to develop virtual reality mobile applications and WebGL components, utilized ARCore, Vuforia, Wikitude SDKs to develop Augmented reality mobile applications, and worked in a team to develop multiple android apps for university students. He also mentored a team of developers, tutored and conducted sessions on AR/VR mobile app development, and led the ADG team in multiple hackathons. Mantej holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology and a CBSE Class 12 Certificate in Science with Computer Science from Delhi Public School.
