Manu Choubey is an experienced Sales and Project Management professional with a focus on new business development, contract management, and project execution in the power transmission industry. He is currently pursuing an MBA at IIMB and is associated with Sieyuan Electric Co. Ltd. as Sales and Project Management - New Business. In his current role, Manu is responsible for creating and executing strategies for business growth and customer acquisition for High Voltage GIS PT, Transformer Bushings, GIS Bushings, and Battery Energy Storage systems pan India. Additionally, he undertakes bid management and ensures timely response to RFPs and RFQs, while also managing all the projects under his previous role. With over 8 years of experience in the power transmission industry, Manu has managed end-to-end project lifecycles from bidding, contract award, advance payments, progressive payments, LC establishment till the final invoicing and delivery of 7 turnkey projects pan India and abroad funded by the national government, World Bank, JICA, and ADB. He has liaised with central and state PSUs, Power ministries, and government bodies for efficient functioning of business in India. Manu's experience also includes dispute management at CXO level with large government clients and EPC partners, identification and elimination of value disruptors/bottlenecks in the contract such as liquidated damages/financial penalties, and claim management of change orders during the project execution stage with large government clients and EPC partners. Manu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a high school degree from Christ Church Boys Senior Secondary School. He is currently pursuing an MBA from IIMB. Manu's technical skills include Frontend development.
