Manu Viswanadhan is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He designed an uploader daemon that identifies and copies new files, a backfiller cron job that migrates old files using mapreduce jobs, and a verifier cron job to confirm all data are copied for a time range using custom mapreduce jobs that implement data join. Manu has also worked as a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, where he was part of the Bluetooth Corestack development team. In this role, he improved performance in critical areas underlying the Bluetooth stack with innovative lock contention implementations and design changes. He corrected multiple bugs existing in the Android codebase of Bluetooth relating to FD leaks, SDP database handling, and proposed an improvement in Bluetooth Paging algorithm that was considered for patent filing. Manu holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, which he completed in 2018, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology, which he completed in 2015.
