Manuel Gómez is a highly experienced VP of Engineering with over 15 years of experience in web development, IT, and the IP industry. He has worked on several diverse projects, ranging from programmer to project leader, in Venezuela and other areas within Latin America. Manuel's projects include intranets, portals, extranet, web applications, VOIP, and IT support/help desk. Currently, Manuel serves as the VP of Engineering at medialab.ai. He is responsible for managing the engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of all projects. Manuel is also actively involved in the development of new products and technologies, ensuring that the company stays ahead of the curve. Prior to joining medialab.ai, Manuel worked as a Lead Software Developer at Whisper App. In this role, he managed the design and deployment of all new features, including server integration. Manuel coordinated with different departments to fulfill all product requirements and helped the product team to technically spec new features. He also worked as a Research Scholar at UC Santa Barbara, where he gained valuable experience in research and development.
