Manupriyam Jindal is a Software Engineer 2 at Intuit who is constantly in a state of learning, improving and evolving. With nearly 4 years of relevant experience, Manupriyam has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Previously, Manupriyam worked as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Expedia where he designed infrastructure and improved existing pipelines. He also implemented features onto an User Access management software used by all the employees (around 10k+ total) in Expedia, to control the access of employees to security groups and subsequently control access to tools, creating an audit trail at the same time to ensure SOX compliance. Manupriyam also implemented multiple rules in a compliance management system that ensured all Expedia AWS accounts were cost-optimized (around $30k in savings), secure (around 5 rules), and resilient. The compliance management system ensured the systems were free from security threats by imposing certain rules, which can either be self-remediated or user-remediated. These rules can also be used to save unnecessary costs, by making sure that cost-effective measures are in place. Before that, Manupriyam was a Software Development Intern at Expedia where he developed an admin console to control and monitor a log ingestion platform, and act as an abstraction over it. He secured the app through ADFS in combination with AWS Cognito SAML Federated User Pools & AWS WAF and Shield. He also secured these API endpoints by adding a layer of Cognito Authorized API Gateway and deployed the application on S3, using CDN by AWS CloudFront. Manupriyam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from NSIT, where he graduated in 2019. He also completed his Class 12 CBSE from Amity International School, Mayur Vihar in 2015 and Class 10 CBSE from Amity International School, Noida in 2013.
