Currently, he is focused on the area of Data Engineering, where he works with distributed systems like Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and the Apache Hadoop ecosystem tools. With almost 3 years of relevant experience, Marek has worked with various companies, including Klarna, where he currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer. He has also worked with Bitpanda as a Data Engineer and Notix s.r.o. as a Big Data Engineer and Presales Engineer. At Notix s.r.o., he was responsible for designing and coding software as per customer needs, managing data coming from different sources, and loading and transforming large sets of structured and semi-structured data. Marek holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Télécom Paris and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
