Marian Abraham is an experienced Application Packager/Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working as a Senior Associate Consultant at Infosys, Marian is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and is always on the lookout for new challenges. In his current role, Marian is working for the same client, Johnson Controls, but in a new team with new opportunities. He is continuing the same role and responsibilities as before, but also taking on new ones, including Hyper-V VM Farm management, APP-V packages, Citrix App Layer, and SCCM 2016. Prior to his current role, Marian worked as an Application Packaging Engineer at Natek and Atos. At Natek, he was responsible for creating application packages using InstallShield and VBScript, performing quality checks of packages created by other team members, communicating with the customer regarding details of the packages, and solving issues related to application packages. He was also involved in resource planning, attending the performance reviews of the consultants, and taking on the additional role of Team Leader of Natek consultants in JCI company. At Atos, Marian was responsible for software packaging, including the creation of new Microsoft Windows Installer packages (MSI, MSP) and repackaging of existing applications (MST) to meet the customer’s needs and requirements. He also handled quality assurance, ensuring that submitted packages comply with the strict requirements of the customer’s style guide and follow best practices. Marian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from Politehnica University of Timisoara and a Highschool Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Highschool "Mihai Viteazul" Ineu. He is proficient in test, QA, and Java. In summary, Marian is an accomplished Application Packager/Engineer with a proven track record of success in the field.
