Marian Wang is a highly driven and motivated Computer and Cognitive Science student at the University of Toronto. With a keen interest in software engineering, she is currently seeking Summer 2023 opportunities in the productivity, communication, or quantitative trading industries. Currently interning as a Software Engineer at Amazon, Marian is gaining valuable experience in Customer Behaviour Analytics. She previously interned at Twitter in Product Insights & Experimentation, where she honed her skills in software engineering. Prior to that, she was a Lab Manager at the University of Toronto, where she was responsible for managing a team of researchers and ensuring the smooth running of the lab. Marian is well-versed in a range of technologies and has a strong foundation in software engineering. Her technical skills include programming in Java, Python, and C++, as well as experience with Git, Linux, and SQL. She is also proficient in machine learning and data analysis. In addition to her technical skills, Marian is a natural collaborator and communicator. She enjoys working in a team environment and has excellent interpersonal skills. She is always eager to learn and thrives in fast-paced and challenging environments. Marian is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Cognitive Science at the University of Toronto, which she expects to complete in December 2023. She also holds a High School Diploma from Dublin High School, where she studied General Studies.
