Mariano Pennini is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in data engineering and a demonstrated history of working in the financial services and consumer electronics industries. He is currently working at Bloomberg LP as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for engineering ESG data infrastructure products. Mariano has a deep knowledge of data engineering in varied production environments and has built APIs and back-end infrastructure for partner integrations. He has also designed and constructed an authentication management system for system-wide user verification on the Tile application during his tenure as a Backend Software Engineering Intern at Tile. During his time as a Software Engineering Intern at PayPal, Mariano redefined the functional testing flow for the Credit Services team by implementing a robust simulation service for a dependent application. He also enabled developers to bypass setup of live account data and remote stages for remote and local functional testing. Mariano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. He has a strong engineering background and is proficient in software engineering, infra, data engineering, backend, and test.
