Mariano is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe, where he mostly works on the backend implementation of the company's verification systems. These systems hide the complexities of verifying personal and business information of users all over the world, depending on local laws and regulations, as well as banking partnership requirements. Prior to Stripe, Mariano worked as a Software Engineer at Thumbtack, where he was part of the Android team building apps for customers to get their projects done. He was also part of the growth initiative that increased participation in the local service marketplace that Thumbtack provides. Mariano has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Chatous, where he helped build, design, and scale highly fault-tolerant, highly available infrastructure used by millions of people. Mariano holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Bachelor's degree in Exact and Natural Sciences from Colegio Nacional Dr. Arturo U. Illia. He is proficient in various technologies, including software engineering, backend development, Android, integration, and infrastructure.
