Maribel previously worked as a Software Engineer at Worklete, where she collaborated with a small team of engineers to rebuild the platform using React and Rails as the main frameworks. She led and implemented the video content delivery strategy that ensures accessibility and performance for all supporting browsers and devices. Maribel also architected, designed, tested, and documented Rest APIs and data models using Ruby on Rails. Maribel holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Merced, and a Front End Development Certification from Free Code Camp. She also studied Computer Sciences at the University of East Anglia. Maribel's tech stack includes Software Engineering and Ruby. Maribel's biggest motivation is setting an example for her sisters, and she believes that together, we can change the world.
