Mario Andrade is a Principal Software Engineer at FlyX Systems, where he develops technological solutions to improve field performance using IoT, drones, computer vision, and data analysis. He specializes in the entire process of web development and digital technologies and has a keen interest in understanding how things work from within. Mario is particularly focused on user experience with the web (React), mobile applications (React Native), and data processing (GCP and AWS) visualization. He is also involved in IoT and computer vision projects. At FlyX Systems, he is developing a platform for precision agriculture, implementing field sensor data analysis and training computer vision algorithms to optimize the field. Some of the tasks he is currently developing include counter of plants and grapes in vineyards using technologies such as TensorFlow, aerial analysis of fields using vegetation indexes with OpenCV, and analysis and predictions of microclimates through sensors in the field using AWS tools. Mario has worked with Fondo para la Comunicacion y la Educacion Ambiental, A.C. and Hela Home as a Principal Software Engineer (Remote). At Agua.org.mx, he collaborated over the course of almost three years in the development of its Nuestra Agua platform (web, iOS, and Android). The objective of the platform is to provide centralized information on water data in Mexico (rivers, wells, lagoons, leaks, water quality measurements, etc.). At Hela Home, he developed a platform from scratch, from the architecture to the implementation of the applications. The platform is available for both Android and iOS via React Native and incorporates a reporting system that integrates users funnel, marketing data (ads and social events), and sales conversion. Mario holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, where he specialized in web development, distributed systems, and digital signal processing. He has 12.45 years of relevant experience and is proficient in Software Engineering, Computer Vision, AWS, Web, React Native, iOS, GCP, Mobile, OpenCV, Android, TensorFlow, MongoDB, Frontend, and Backend.
