Mario Stallone is a Full Stack Software Developer with over 12 years of relevant experience in developing customer-facing applications and their supporting backends. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Yelp, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's software products. Mario has a strong understanding of the complete lifecycle of a product, and he loves writing clean, reusable, object-oriented code. He enjoys working in a fast-paced, agile environment, as it brings out the best in all of us. He believes that learning has to be a constant part of his life, and he keeps himself updated with the latest technologies and trends in the industry. Prior to joining Yelp, Mario worked as an Associate Architect and Technical Lead at Myntra, where he architected, designed, and developed the Android and iOS apps of Myntra from scratch. Both the Android and iOS apps are the largest in their category in India, with the Android app having over 50 million downloads. Mario was responsible for all the infrastructure, such as Push Notifications, Deeplinking, Analytics, etc. surrounding the app ecosystem at Myntra. He led the team since the start of the app development and was responsible for growing the team to its current strength. He also built multiple systems such as a Push Notification System, App Installation Database, Fraud Detection engine, etc. using Node JS on the backend. Mario holds a Master of Science (MS) in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Media Technology from Karunya University. He also completed his 2nd PUC in Physics, Computers, Maths, and Chemistry from St. Joseph's Pre University College and his 10th Standard in ICSE from St. Joseph's Boys High School.
