Mario Talavera is a highly experienced Data Engineer with over 23 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Tompkins Applied Technologies, where he has designed a hybrid data warehouse using Kimball Modeling Techniques to support multi-tenant near real-time reporting services. Mario has also designed robust and scalable data pipelines for the company's Warehouse Execution System (WES), automating the ingestion and processing of data into a hybrid data warehouse using both batch and stream data processing. Mario has leveraged the existing on-premises messaging system to accelerate the move from batch processing to stream processing.
