Marissa Pang is a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with more than 10 years of relevant experience in the field. She is currently working with Cognite AS as a Senior Data Engineer, where she is responsible for designing and implementing data solutions for clients. Prior to joining Cognite AS, Marissa worked with First Hawaiian Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Quantitative Analyst, where she developed a bot using Python, R, SQL, and batch files that managed and executed multiple recurring jobs with a vast variety of functionality. She also developed a web application using Flask, HTML, and CSS that worked as a tool for project management, documentation, and an internal “wiki” space. Marissa worked with all product areas to launch mail and email campaigns, analyzed campaign performance as well as product performance to help measure success rate and to better predict target audiences, and applied customer and account analytics to prepare the datasets used in their campaigns. Marissa has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington, which she completed in 2013. Her technical skills include Data Engineering, SQL, Python, Flask, and Web, among others. She has a proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
