Marius Voila is a seasoned Senior DevSecOps Engineer, Cloud / Kubernetes Consultant, and Tech Lead with over 14 years of experience in Linux sysadmin and DevOps. He specializes in deployments, cloud computing, load balancing, scaling, and performance tuning, as well as developing disaster-recovery best practices and server security audits. Marius is passionate about infrastructure automation and containerization, metrics and monitoring, and has expertise in Linux, UNIX, and the BSDs, Xen Paravirtualization, OpenStack, Networking, architecture, and security, MySQL setup, load balancing, and clustering, Apache and Nginx web servers, IPSec, OpenVPN, and SSH tunneling, and much more. Currently, Marius works as a Cloud Architect / DevSecOps at eclecticiq, where he builds the Cloud / Kubernetes infrastructure for the SaaS offering and helps with the corporate security implementation. He deploys and maintains multiple HA Kubernetes Clusters on AWS, which are monitored with Prometheus. Marius also implements Kubernetes federation of multiple clusters and deploys the application on to all clusters using the GitOps model. He has experience in AWS multi-organization account management, AWS deployments, corporate security, pentesting, PSIRT Manager, and vulnerability management. Marius has worked with several renowned companies in the past, including TomTom and eBay, where he deployed and maintained OpenStack, Kubernetes clusters, and ensured that all aspects of the Cloud infrastructure were secure. Marius has a degree in ICT Engineering from the Via University, where he studied English and Informatics. He has expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, infra, DevOps, Terraform, Docker, MySQL, Elastic Search, and Web. Marius has 17.54 years of relevant experience in the industry.
