Mark Hoffmann is an innovative thinker and technology leader with over 11 years of experience in pushing the boundaries of the future in areas of artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, and software systems. He is currently the Chief Architect at ubiety technologies, inc. where he is leading the design and execution of a data startup that focuses on translating the digital RF world into the physical world and creating the next generation of security via decomposing cellular, wifi, and bluetooth signals around us. Mark has proven expertise in areas of pushing the state of the art forward in artificial intelligence, designing scalable data systems, and driving value from research through production. He has worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he applied artificial intelligence to the Deep Space Network, spacecraft telemetry, Martian rovers, and electronic systems risk. He has also worked at DARPA, where he provided technical leadership and ingenuity for the top research institutions pushing the state of the art in artificial intelligence and AutoML. He made significant contributions towards the Learning with Less Labels (LwLL) and the Data Driven Discovery of Models (D3M) programs. Mark has also executed turnkey fraud detection solutions at Blue Cross Blue Shield. He has a Master's degree in Analytics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics with minors in Computer Science and Math from Augustana College.
