Mark Jivko is a seasoned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with over 11 years of experience in the tech industry. He is currently an Association Member at vrara London, having been acqui-hired as the Chief Technical Officer of a cryptocurrency-based game startup. Mark is a VR & Web3 Advisor and Investor, passionate about cutting-edge projects and startups. He is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Web3, NFT, PHP, Decentralised, Android, Frontend, and Backend technologies. Mark has been obsessed with software engineering since he was 16, when he made his first game in C++. He has designed his own PHP framework and CMS, among other tools, frameworks, and plugins, and created software that is used by millions all over the world. He is an avid reader and actively invests his time and resources in cutting-edge projects and startups. Mark loves building teams that make a difference! Mark has a strong track record of success in the tech industry, having worked as CTO at Macrocosm by Metaverse Games, where he built an MMORPG framework/SaaS from the ground up and sold it. He guided Metaverse Games in integrating decentralized finance tools such as utility tokens and a marketplace for NFTs. Mark also led the development of a number of SDKs and APIs for interaction with various blockchains. Mark's experience also includes serving as CTO of Stephino, Inc., one of the most profitable Android publishing studios in Bucharest. He worked with both front-end and back-end technologies to create APK Factory, a proprietary distributed software application that allowed his team to rapidly prototype, publish, and update over 6000 apps on Google Play and other Android app stores that totaled over 100 million downloads. Mark was heavily involved in both programming tasks and management of his development and art teams. Mark holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the University Politehnica of Bucharest.
