Marta-Gaia Zanchi is a highly accomplished Board Director, Founder, and Managing Partner with over 11 years of experience in the field of healthcare technology innovation. Currently, she is associated with Nina Capital, where she invests in need-driven health tech founders building the future of information-driven healthcare. Marta-Gaia has also worked with the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the center's activities in digital health. She founded and led Biodesign for Mobile Health, a multidisciplinary, project-oriented course that has trained over 200 students and postdoctoral scholars in a needs-driven process of mobile health technology innovation. She also founded and co-led Biodesign NEXT, an extension funding program designed to recognize the most promising projects by teams of students from select Biodesign courses. Marta-Gaia's contributions to expanding the training provided to undergraduate students at Stanford University in the field of health technology innovation, as a member of Biodesign's Undergraduate Committee, have been highly appreciated. She has mentored Biodesign Innovation Fellows, Faculty Fellows, other Biodesign trainees, and Stanford students from all corners of the campus working on digital health projects. Marta-Gaia holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Certificate in Professional Photography from John Kaverdash Accademia di Fotografia.
