Marta Giaimi is a highly motivated Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. Currently working with Electronic Arts (EA), she is responsible for maintaining and enhancing software products, procedures, and techniques. Marta is passionate about providing innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions to meet technical objectives, timing, and ensuring that quality solutions meet business and client objectives. Marta is an excellent team player with good communication skills and has industry and full life cycle experience in a java-based environment. Prior to joining EA, Marta worked with Revevol Group as a Software Engineer, where she was responsible for full-stack web and cloud development, development of connectors and middlewares on Google App Engine (or Compute Engine), integration of GSuite products, APIs architecture, and technical analysis. She also built Gsuite extensions with Google Apps Scripts and implemented tools to manage Google domain administration using Google APIs. She has hands-on experience in technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (AppEngine, Storage, Datastore), Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, IntelliJ, Maven, AngularJs, Angular7, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and React. Marta also worked as a Master's Thesis Researcher at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she analyzed spatio-temporal data to exploit descriptive and predictive models. Her research focused on the implementation of a data analysis algorithm to detect and extract the most frequent trajectories made daily in a given area. She used Java as the programming language and QGIS as the geographic information system (GIS). Marta holds a Master's degree in Télécommunications Services & Usages from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Year of Exchange in Computer Science Department from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from Liceo Scientifico Benedetto Croce, Palermo, Italia.
