Martie K. Burris is a creative and innovative product leader with over 10 years of experience in developing 0-1 products, organizing chaos, and empowering product teams. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Salesforce, Martie is responsible for developing innovative ideas and getting others to listen. She has a proven track record of leading cross-functional product teams, including several of the most senior technical staff members of Salesforce and external teams from their partners. Martie is happiest when given autonomy to innovate and build products that improve people's lives. She is also passionate about educating and creating space for others. In 2018, she started a coaching initiative called FoldingChair, which has created over $6.2M in salaries for coachees. FoldingChair primarily helps coachees from underserved backgrounds find their first or second roles in product. Martie's past experience includes serving as the Senior Manager of Product Management, Platform, and Senior Product Manager, Heroku, both at Salesforce. As a founding PM on Work.com, she led the product, user research, core product development, and strategic partnerships, contributing to the largest quarter in Salesforce history.
