Martin Dvorak is a highly skilled technologist with over 20 years of experience in software architecture and development. He possesses strong hands-on technical skills combined with a good knowledge of enterprise systems architecture. Martin specializes in ML/XAI, REST architectural style, Cloud, and SOA-aware (micro)services. Martin started his career as a developer in Systinet, a successful startup. When Mercury acquired Systinet, he held the position of Systinet Chief Architect. He then worked at Hewlett-Packard, where he held the position of Integrations Architect and member of the Emerging Technologies Group, playing a significant role in the effort of REST architectural style adoption. Martin influenced product teams to build a platform of self-describing, loosely coupled, evolution anticipating, and mashup enabled web services. Currently, Martin works at H2O.ai as a Lead Software Engineer, responsible for making Machine Learning Interpretability module for H2O Driverless AI. He strives to enable fair, responsible, and explainable machine learning models. Martin holds an MSc. degree in Computer Science from Charles University Prague with specialization in ML/AI, compilers, and operating systems. He was promoted to Master level on Hewlett-Packard's Technical Career Path. Martin is a certified Scrum Master and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certified Consultant. He holds ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate. He was S-RAMP Atom specification binding co-author, and he has filed four patent applications. Martin is an open-source contributor (MindForger, HSTR), knowledge management believer, and eager learner. He has worked as a Software Engineer and Researcher at MindForger, where he developed a thinking notebook for knowledge management with ML/NLP features. Martin also worked as a Software Architect at Hewlett-Packard, where he designed and implemented a simulator for the 4th generation of service virtualization solution + virtualization of (IoT) devices. With a relevant experience of 22.20 years, Martin's tech stack includes ML, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, AI, Web, Research Scientist, and NLP.
