Martius Lim is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for building reliable software that delights customers. With over 5 years of relevant experience, he has a demonstrated ability to deep dive into complex systems and codebases, making him a fast learner. Martius enjoys discussions about software architecture and design, and is always eager to learn new things and re-learn old things. Currently, Martius works as a Network Specialist at the Singapore Armed Forces, where he leads a Help Desk team to ensure smooth operations across the SAF network. He troubleshoots and maintains network devices and infrastructure across the SAF, including switches, and communicates with vendors to resolve network outages and periods of reduced performance. Martius also documents all server and network problems and other unusual events in detail. In the past, Martius has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Coinhako, where he assisted company co-founders with key projects and expansion plans. He was also involved in decision-making processes, planning, and development of software. Martius has also worked as a Publicity Director at Whitehat Society (Information Security Special Interest Group), where he managed and updated the club’s website and communication platforms to reach out to more than 200 club members. He also participated in Information Security competitions: Singapore Cyber Conquest and Cyber Defenders Discovery Camp. Martius holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Systems from Singapore Management University, and has completed a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity. He also has a background in Business Administration from Yonsei University.
