Prior to joining SAI Partners, Marty founded Whisper, Inc., a consulting company focused on business development for small to medium-sized companies. At Whisper, he established and rebuilt sales cultures, recruited and trained sales representatives, and developed business strategies for several start-up companies across a variety of industries. In addition, Marty also served as a corporate services aggregator, providing companies with detailed analysis of service providers and negotiating better pricing and service on their behalf. Marty also has experience in the banking sector, having served as the Director of Corporate and Venture Capital Services at Leerink Swan. In this role, he oversaw the corporate and venture services division, focusing on monetization events for corporate insiders and venture capital firms. He also served as a liaison between venture capital firms and Leerink Swan's research and banking divisions, producing seven banking-related transactions as well as over 15 seven-figure block trades. Under his leadership, the division's revenue grew 100% year-over-year in its first two years of existence. Marty holds a degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also has experience as a research scientist and is well-versed in various technologies.
