Mary McKenzie is a full-stack software engineer with a passion for front-end engineering and user-centered design. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at Second Spectrum, Inc., where she designs and develops full-stack applications using ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, and SwiftUI. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Mary has honed her skills in software engineering, frontend development, ReactJS, Typescript, SQL, web development, and JavaScript. Mary's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT as well. She also holds an Academic Honors Diploma from Fishers High School. Prior to her current role, Mary worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at MIT, where she taught courses on Intelligent Multimodal User Interfaces and Software Studio. As a teaching assistant, she led workshop-style recitations and collaborated with the teaching staff to develop recitation material. She also instructed and evaluated knowledge of web development, including the basics of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.
