As a Staff Software Engineer at Lexria, Mason designed and architected a complex, modular form system for bankruptcy intake, balancing user experience, maintainability, and development velocity. He also designed a data pipeline using Typescript, Apollo, GraphQL, and schema validation to achieve strict type safety from the inputs of their HTML forms down to the API schema. Mason has also contributed to two separate marketing sites using Next.js, built up a design system from scratch, and integrated with a financial aggregator to make it possible for filers to directly import their financial accounts. Prior to Lexria, Mason worked as a Software Engineer at Mineralsoft, where he contributed to a SaaS product providing dashboards, maps, and other data visualizations to help mineral rights owners monitor their holdings. He also built a way to spin up new deployment environments for testing staged pull requests using Terraform and AWS Fargate. At Andrew Harper Travel, Mason improved reliability and code quality across all of their web offerings, as well as building out new services. Mason has a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Texas and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp.
